I created Formulator Hub because I believe great formulation education shouldn't be out of reach. Whether you're a hobbyist or an aspiring professional, you deserve guidance built on real science and real experience.
My Story
Hi, I'm Timi Racz. I'm a qualified Cosmetic Chemist based in the UK, where I live with my partner and our very beloved orange cat.
My journey in cosmetic education began with teaching organic skincare enthusiasts, blending the world-famous Formula Botanica curriculum with hands-on, face-to-face instruction. As a trained and experienced teacher, moving into this space felt like a natural fit.
Over the years, I held senior roles at Formula Botanica, serving as Education Manager and later Head of Formulation and Research. Today, I work as Head of R&D at a small luxury brand, where I get to put my passion for cosmetic science into practice every day.
When I'm not in the lab or at my desk, you'll find me formulating, because it never really turns off! Now that I'm no longer in full-time study mode, I also dedicate my time to creating new courses designed to support formulators at every stage of their journey.
